«У заповіднику є колекції тварин та рослин, які формуються вже кілька поколінь. У нас є страуси, зубри, антилоп, дикі коні, лами, зебри та багато видів птахів, включаючи велику колекцію хижих птахів та журавлів. Тепер і зоологічний парк, і ботанічний сад "Асканія Нова" не мають доступу до бюджетних рахунків і ми змушені підтримувати заповідник своїми коштами. Витрати резерву ми можемо покрити лише за допомогою пожертвувань. Будемо дуже вдячні, якщо ви підтримаєте наших тварин, птахів та інших мешканців Асканії Нова. Навіть найменша сума грошей має велике значення для нашого резерву. Поки що наша територія все ще під окупацією, єдиний спосіб отримати гроші з-за кордону нашим резервам — це рахунок PayPal», - йдеться у повідомленні.

Dear friends! We, at Biosphere Reserve Askania Nova, express our gratitude to everyone who helps us to save the reserve and everyone who cares about the future of our institution.
Since the first hours of the Russian full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the territory of the Kherson region in southern Ukraine where Askania-Nova is located has been temporarily occupied. The reserve has collections of animals and plants that have been forming for several generations. We host ostriches, bison, antelopes, wild horses, llamas, zebras, and many bird species, including a great collection of birds of prey and cranes.
Now, both the zoological park and botanical garden of Askania Nova have no access to their budget accounts, and we have to support the reserve by our own means. At the moment, we can cover the reserve's expenditures only with the help of donations. We would really appreciate it if you could support our animals, birds, and other inhabitants of Askania Nova. Even the smallest amount of money is of great importance to our reserve.
